bAbout the Role:/bbrbrTradewind Recruitment is working closely with a Special Educational Needs School in Corby, Northamptonshire, to appoint a School Caretaker for an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out semi-skilled building repairs and maintenance tasks, scheduling contracted services, and ensuring maintenance checks are completed and recorded.brbrbMain Responsibilities:/bbrbr To carry out semi-skilled building repairs and maintenance tasks using hand and power tools as necessary to effect repair, decorate and install fixtures and fittings as required.br To help schedule contracted services to the site and monitor the delivery of the work commissioned.br To ensure maintenance checks are completed and recorded on the agreed schedule.brbrbAbout the School:/bbrbrThis is a large and modern school with fantastic state-of-the-art facilities for pupils and staff. The school is a visual arts specialist school, looking to become a hub of excellence. The current Headteacher joined in 2016 from a leading Grammar School in the local area and is on a mission to improve the education offering and support for pupils, whilst giving opportunities for staff to develop both personally and professionally.brbrbRequirements:/bbrbr Previous experience working at a school is desirable.br Available Monday to Friday.br Has a DBS or willing to apply for one.
