Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at beBee Professionals in Edmonton, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers, adhering to delivery schedules and maintaining excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver goods to customers across various locations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
- Load and unload goods, handling items with care and attention to detail.
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, minimizing delays and disruptions.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, performing regular checks and maintenance.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and responsible work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliveries.
- Good communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on providing excellent service and building strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a strong emphasis on safety and physical well-being.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
