About the Job:

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a global brand in the FMCG manufacturing sector. As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to complete tasks on various machinery throughout departments.
  • Maintain a variety of machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to identify root causes of equipment failures.
  • Report to the Engineering Shift Manager and assist with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
  • Analyse machine breakages and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Evaluate tooling failures and assess tool characteristics and requirements.
  • Aid and guide less experienced colleagues as needed.

Requirements:

  • Electrical or mechanical maintenance engineering experience.
  • Engineering qualifications (HNC/NVQ/C&G).
  • Fault finding ability both mechanically and electrically.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience performing maintenance engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
