Flexi-cover teachers play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the learning process. We are seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to join our team and work across various schools in Dacorum and surrounding areas.

The Role:

  • As a flexi-cover teacher, you will be responsible for covering lessons due to staff absence, extra teaching support, interim recruitment, or training. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working across different age groups and are willing to adapt to changing schedules.
  • You will be expected to carry out work pre-set by the class teacher to a high standard, manage pupil behavior, and maintain a positive and constructive learning environment.
  • De-escalating situations within the classroom, reporting any safeguarding concerns, and collecting pupil work at the end of the lesson are also key responsibilities.
  • Our ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and be committed to delivering high-quality education while working collaboratively with colleagues and school staff.
