Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of powered access equipment at customer sites within the Scotland Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of powered access equipment
  • Routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products
  • Completing supporting paperwork in line with company procedures
  • Carrying out refurbishment of equipment and products where necessary
  • Promoting teamwork between colleagues to ensure effective workshop performance
  • Liaising with team members to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs
  • Ensuring the van is fully equipped with spare parts at all times
  • Maintaining and updating service records and daily worksheets
  • Adhering to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work
  • Representing the company and values of the business to customers and other stakeholders
About You
  • Relevant general maintenance qualification and experience in the plant rental sector
  • Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills and understanding of excellent customer service
