Job Summary

This role involves installing the Thrislington product range on acquired projects, ensuring high-quality installations and maintaining a positive relationship with external customers and project management staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the Contract Manager and Field Supervisor to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install the entire Thrislington range of products under supervision
  • Inspect work and maintain quality control, documenting findings as per standard
  • Understand and be proficient with the sequence of installation for each product
  • Communicate with field supervisor/senior contracts manager on significant issues and material problems
  • Inspect work and maintain quality control, documenting defects and reporting findings to management personnel
  • Follow safe working policies and procedures
  • Report hazards, unsafe acts, and conditions immediately to Field Supervisor and/or Contracts Manager
  • Comply with wearing assigned PPE designated for the job
  • Travel to projects where the Thrislington products are to be installed
  • Participate in the Suggested Method Improvement program
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in the construction industry
  • NVQ Level 2 in Joinery & Carpentry
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Knowledge of installation techniques and processes
  • Able to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems using sound judgement and analytical skills
  • Adaptable and flexible, open to change
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
