Our client, a leading financial planning company, is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Support Specialist to join their team. Based in a hybrid office setup, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team focused on career development.

The successful candidate will provide essential support to financial advisers through technical research and report writing. They will also attend meetings as required, working closely with the team to deliver holistic independent financial advice to clients. This includes cashflow modelling, pensions, investment, and estate/tax planning services.

In this hands-on role, you will have exposure to clients, be a vital part of the advice process, and have your input recognised. Communication and interpersonal skills are key, and fitting in with our warm and dynamic office culture is essential. For more senior appointments, there may be opportunities to train, mentor, coach, and support colleagues, contributing to the company's direction of travel as part of the management team.

We require a minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management, providing support to financial advisers carrying out technical tasks. Diploma qualifications or close proximity to obtaining them is preferred, while a level 4 qualification is required for senior positions. Strong software, IT skills, back office experience, and a keen eye for detail are must-haves, aligning with FCA legislation and regulations.
