Senior Python Engineer - £75k - £100k + Benefits – RegTech – Remote

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Engineer to join our engineering team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will contribute heavily to new product builds and enhancements to our key solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Python frameworks, libraries, and tools.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in software development.
  • Expertise in backend development, particularly with Python.
  • Experience with cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps tools, such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries, such as Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data storage solutions.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance regulations.
