We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our 70-bedded care home in Gloucestershire.

This home has a strong reputation within the community and a supportive regional team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for care and quality, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage their own home independently.

Ideally, we would like a nurse manager, but we would also consider a manager without a pin who has strong clinical experience of managing nursing homes.

This home caters for the care of the elderly with dementia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • As a Home Manager, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver high-quality, personalized care and support to our residents.
  • You will be accountable for the commercial and financial performance of the home, including occupancy levels and operating profit, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure that all care plans are person-centered, reviewed, and updated regularly.
  • Ensure that the Home achieves and remains compliant with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Ensure all members of staff have completed mandatory and specialist training.
  • Complete staff appraisals and supervisions to support their continuous professional development.
  • Complete internal and external audits and inspections of the service.
  • Carry out investigations of any alleged misconduct and abuse reported in the service and take appropriate action.
You must be:
  • You will have a Registered Nurse qualification and current PIN or experience as a Nursing Home Manager.
  • Over 2 years of experience working at management level.
  • Worked in a Care Home with a Good CQC rating.
  • Hold a NVQ L4 or RMA qualification.
  • Experienced in quality and clinical governance programs, including audit and care services.
  • Experienced in working in the healthcare sector.
  • Driven and motivated, with a belief in quality care.
  • An energetic, committed, and approachable manager.
  • An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through their passion and commitment.
