Are you an experienced Business Process Manager looking for a new challenge?

Caravel, a leading real estate private equity fund manager, is seeking a talented individual to oversee daily operations, optimise processes, ensure quality control, and assist teams in achieving organisational goals.

This role reports directly into the CFO and offers exposure to senior members of the firm on a global basis.

The key responsibilities include:

Process Optimisation

  • Design and execute day-to-day operational activities, ensuring seamless execution across departments.
  • Develop and implement workflows and processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with finance, investment, and asset management teams to support project lifecycle activities.
  • Implement policies and employee benefits consistently across European offices.
  • Standardise onboarding processes and draft an employee handbook.
  • Involved in administrative decision-making.

Risk Assessment

  • Evaluate operational activities for compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate policies.
  • Manage risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with senior management.
  • Design a three lines of defence risk framework and lead on ISAE implementation (if required).
  • Manage and design an insurance portfolio across the company and investment vehicles.

Data Analysis

  • Design, develop, and deliver regular operational and performance reports to management.
  • Work with Finance, Deal, and Asset Management teams to improve efficiency of planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.

Technology Integration

  • Review and optimise software platforms across business units.
  • Recommend and implement technological solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other offices on IT infrastructure and support within Europe.

Team Development

  • Serve as the central point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders regarding operational matters.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster a high-performance culture.

The successful candidate will have 5-8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in operations, management consulting, accounting, or fund/corporate administration. Proficiency in using operational and financial software is essential.

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate will also be eligible for company benefits, including a discretionary, performance-related bonus scheme.
