Job Title: Child Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Child Practitioner to join our team at MP Training and Recruitment. As a Child Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality childcare and education to young children.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. You will be responsible for engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS by promoting a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters learning and development.
  • Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, including hygiene standards and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding by adhering to established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential; however, a passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child is essential.
  • A sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children is required.
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable is necessary, as this role may involve working varied shifts and being part of a dynamic team.
