About the Role

Kepak Group is a leading global food company that serves international retailers and food service household names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend food concepts, and ready-for-market convenience foods. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing effective maintenance support to our Production team, ensuring the equipment, machinery, and tools used in our factory are always running smoothly, maintaining seamless production, and enhancing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement preventative maintenance schedules to pre-emptively address potential issues and minimize downtime.
  2. Contribute to refining operational functions, leading to increased productivity and safety in the workplace.
  3. Collaborate with multi-nationals from various levels and departments to drive the success and sustainability of the production process.
  4. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, utilizing strong diagnostic and root cause analysis skills.
  5. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, PLC control, refrigeration, and PTW systems.
Requirements
  1. Multi-skilled apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  2. Suitable Electrical and/or Mechanical Qualification.
  3. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in meat or food production.
  4. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC control, refrigeration, and PTW systems.
  5. Significant trouble shooting and fault-finding diagnostics and resolution experience.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Demonstrate team skills with a positive attitude and professional approach.
  8. Domestic wiring experience, PLC program structure, and operational awareness, Continuous improvement and lean experience would be an advantage.
  9. Passion for food and commitment to company values.
  10. Proactive and can-do attitude.
  11. Good communication skills.
  12. Ability to work under own initiative and meet deadlines.
  13. Relationship builder with influencing skills.
