Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in the definition and development of core technologies that make up our manufacturing and construction products.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, develop, refactor, test, deliver, and maintain complex features within cloud-based, web, and desktop components.
  • Collaborate with teams of talented engineers to implement and maintain production cloud services and software components.
  • Interact with product owners and product management teams to review and implement proposed designs.
  • Use Agile and LEAN methodology as an active member of a Scrum team.
  • Collaborate using tools such as Git, JIRA, Slack, and wiki pages.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in C++.
  • Some experience in software development in a commercial setting in a Scrum team.
  • First or upper-second class degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
