Classroom Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Leader to join our team at Moray Council.

• Teach assigned classes, prepare and correct work, and develop the school curriculum.
• Assess, record, and report pupil progress, preparing them for examinations and providing administrative support.
• Offer guidance and advice to pupils on educational matters and promote their health, welfare, and safety.
• Work collaboratively with parents, support staff, and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the best possible education.
• Pursue Continuing Professional Development and contribute to school planning, achievement, and individual review.

• A suitable candidate will be provisionally registered and able to take up an unpromoted permanent position on a temporary basis.
• The role is also open to applicants interested in job-sharing or part-time work.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £25,000 - £40,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits may include opportunities for professional growth and development within the council.
