Community Paediatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders and neuro-disabilities.

• Undertake Consultant-led clinics and provide support to more junior doctors
• Provide specialist paediatric assessment of children referred with concerns regarding neurodevelopmental problems or disability
• Take Consultant medical responsibility for children attending special school
• Provide clinical support for clinicians providing Community Paediatric and Child Health Services
• Be part of the multidisciplinary assessment and diagnosis process for children referred to the service

• Comprehensive training in Paediatrics and all aspects of Community Paediatrics
• Ability to demonstrate the competencies equivalent to higher specialist training in Community Child Health
• Able to prioritise workload effectively to manage targets within defined timescales
