Pertemps West Bromwich is currently recruiting for Production Fitters to join our expanding client based in the region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled team in a dynamic and growing company, with a chance to secure a permanent position after a successful trial period.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assembling mechanical components for products
  • Installing hydraulics and other mechanical systems
  • Performing in-line inspections during the assembly process
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations while performing tasks

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous mechanical hydraulics experience
  • Previous knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Use of tools including air, electrical and manual
  • Ability to provide own tools
  • FLT Licence is beneficial

Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:30am to 16:30pm and Friday from 07:30am to 12:30pm. The starting rate is £12.50 per hour, which may increase to £13.50 per hour after a successful trial period.
