Hospital Support Role

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to the hospital, working with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include:
- Collection and delivery of items needed by the hospital from/to other hospitals or facilities in the local area.
- Occasional taxi service to patients and staff.
- Assistance with blood unit collection and return from/to Blood Bank according to local working instructions.
- Portering duties, including transportation of patients/goods/sets/equipment/linen/medical gases, clinical/general waste, mail distribution, general cleaning, and security duties.
- Maintenance of theatre lounge supplies, collection and distribution of linen, and management of fluid stocks.
- Participation in porters' meetings, keeping up to date with information in the porters' folder, and assisting fellow porters on duty.
- Clearing waste from theatres department, disposing of it in designated areas, and liaising with CSSD for timely collection and disposal of clinical waste.
