Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our team as a SEND Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with the SENCO and other support staff to design learning schemes for children with additional needs in EYFS, KS1-KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the SENCO and support staff to create tailored learning plans that cater to individual needs.
  • Adapt educational resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote independent learning.
  • Provide positive role models and set targets to boost confidence and self-esteem among pupils.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and behavioural disorders.
  • Able to adapt to diverse backgrounds and experiences.
