Job Description:

Embark Recruitment is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Engineer to join their team in Maidstone, Kent. As a key member of the powered access hire industry, this role offers a dynamic and fulfilling career with opportunities for professional growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing PDIs, servicing, and repairs on tool hire and powered access equipment. You will attend client sites to address breakdowns and ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards. This position requires an analytical approach to problem-solving, the ability to work independently without instruction, and a full UK driver's licence. Ideally, an IPAF licence and CAP registration would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting PDIs, servicing, and repairs on tool hire and powered access equipment.
  2. Attending client sites for breakdown repairs.
  3. Maintaining a high standard of work under pressure.
  4. Adhering to health and safety regulations as per HSE and company standards.

This role comes with a competitive salary of £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience, and comprehensive benefits including a robust pension scheme, opportunities for overtime, and the stability of a permanent full-time position. A company van is provided, enabling you to work both on client sites and within the workshop, offering variety in your daily tasks.
