Job Title: Executive Sous Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at a 28-bedroom hotel in the UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and helping to lead and develop our team of 7 chefs.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the management of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  2. Lead and develop the culinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  3. Work closely with the Head Chef to develop menus and ensure consistency in food quality.
  4. Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a rosette environment.
  2. Formal training in culinary arts.
  3. A good track record of leading a team and developing staff.
  4. Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  5. Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
