Job Title: Transformation Leader

Location: Global

Are you a strategic and dynamic leader ready to drive transformation and operational excellence in a global manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Transformation Leader to play a crucial part in driving business growth, improving resilience, and optimizing production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global manufacturing strategy to align with business goals and support future growth
  • Lead initiatives to enhance resilience across the production portfolio, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders
  • Optimize production systems to achieve significant cost reductions and secure future production contracts
  • Deputy to the Production Director, leading the manufacturing function and managing a £50 million capital investment portfolio
  • Foster strong relationships with Service Delivery Units (SDUs) and other key stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and functional alignment
  • Provide leadership and governance within the Production Operations Senior Management Team, including mentoring and performance management of direct reports

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with a deep understanding of global production operations and their integration within a business context
  • Proven leadership experience in managing large, multidisciplinary teams in high-rate manufacturing environments
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing manufacturing strategies that drive operational excellence and transformation
  • Strong background in managing large capital investment projects and modernizing production infrastructure
  • Ability to optimize production systems while achieving cost reductions and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Experience leading strategic transformation initiatives that align with business ambitions
  • Excellent relationship management skills for effective collaboration with senior leadership, customers, and suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to deputize for a senior executive, effectively managing responsibilities across the manufacturing function and representing the Production Director as needed
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex programmes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • Proven experience working with unions, ensuring effective collaboration and negotiation in a unionized environment
