About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our Risk Advisory team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing internal audit projects, providing assurance on our clients' internal controls, and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage internal audit projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Provide assurance on our clients' internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in internal audit and risk management.
  • Collaborate with other teams to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, MIIA, or CCAB qualification or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and systems and controls testing.
  • Awareness of compliance, legislative, and market issues relevant to client businesses.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan effectively, adopting a logical and methodical approach to meet tight deadlines and balance client needs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in social housing or retail sectors.
  • Experience with listed entities.
  • Previous experience in a manager role within practice.
