Job Title: Reader in Operations Management

Brunel Business School is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Reader in Operations Management. The successful candidate will support existing and new programmes, advancing understanding in key areas of Operations Management, including Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Analytics, Global Outsourcing, and Procurement.

About the Role

The Reader will contribute effectively to the MSc programmes in Business Intelligence and Digital Marketing / Global Supply Chain Management / AI and Strategy, as well as to the undergraduate, MBA, and PhD programmes. They should have an active research profile in the subject area, including journal publications in 4-star journals, a record of income generation, and experience in teaching Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Project Management or related business subjects to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Operations Management
  • Advance understanding in key areas of Operations Management through research and publications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the Innovation and Sustainability Division and the Operations and Information Systems Management (OISM) Research Group
