About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at one of our specialist schools. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting autistic and neurodivergent children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in a classroom setting, providing individualised attention and care
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Help students with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Encourage students to develop their social and communication skills
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individual education plans
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
