About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver at Tesco, you will be responsible for delivering customer shopping trips with a smile. This role is about more than just driving - it's about helping others and delivering great service. You will be the face of Tesco out on the road, meeting and talking to different customers in their homes every day.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver customer shopping trips with a smile
Ensure the van and trays are clean and tidy
Load the van as required and check for roadworthiness
Talk to customers about changes to their order and offer refunds if necessary
Take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own
Explain to customers that they will not be charged for substitutions
Deliver during the customer's time slot and call them before arriving if early
Call the store if running 30 minutes or more late

Requirements
Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit
Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues
Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs
Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations
Share ideas with managers and colleagues on how to improve the store for customers
Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license with no more than 3 penalty points
