Role: DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer

Manchester / Hybrid (on-site working at least 1 day a week)


We're seeking a skilled DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to join our innovative tech company. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure high uptime and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices


Requirements:

  • Strong experience with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS Fargate, SQS, SNS, Aurora PostgreSQL & MySQL, S3, and Terraform
  • Proficiency in Bash, Python, and JavaScript scripting languages
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
