Our current opening is for a Lift & Crane Surveyor who will be working from home with occasional travel to client sites in London and Chelmsford. As part of our permanent staff, you will be responsible for conducting inspections on lifting equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advising clients on safety standards and regulatory changes.
**Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Lift & Crane Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the field and hold relevant qualifications such as NVQ4, City & Guilds Level 4, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. LEEA qualifications are preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting inspections on lifting equipment (MEWPS, HIABs, cranes, FLTs) to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Preparing and delivering inspection reports using advanced reporting tools.
- Advising clients on safety standards and regulatory changes.
- Maintaining high health and safety standards during all inspections.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the field.
* Relevant qualifications such as NVQ4, City & Guilds Level 4, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
* LEEA qualifications are preferred.
**Salary:** £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
