Join RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
RAC is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Professional to join our team. As a Traveling Car Mechanic, you will work on a rotating shift pattern between 8am-8pm, Monday to Saturday. You'll be responsible for carrying out car services, repairs and diagnostics at customers' homes or workplaces.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and previous experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic in the motor trade. A full UK driving licence with less than 6 points is also required.

About the Role
This role offers a competitive salary of £31,860 plus £4,320 London Weighting Allowance, paid across 12 equal payments throughout the year. In addition, you can expect target earnings on top of your base salary. The role also comes with a welcome bonus of £2,000, paid across 4 equal payments of £500.
A 35-hour working week provides a great work-life balance, and you'll enjoy various benefits including overtime opportunities, paid at 1.5x hourly rate. Holiday allowance consists of 23 days (rising to 25 with service) + bank holidays. You'll also receive a Group Personal Pension scheme match/contribution up to 6.5% on qualifying earnings. Plus, access to a Car salary sacrifice scheme and Family leave support make this an attractive opportunity.
