About Our Client:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to support a gentleman living independently in Barrow-in-Furness. Our client has a mixed gender team on days and nights shifts, providing 1:1 support 24 hours a day. If you have experience working with individuals with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalized care and support to our client, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Encouraging and enabling our client to engage in activities that promote their physical and mental health.
  • Developing and implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments to ensure our client's safety and well-being.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to our client.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including days and nights shifts.
