About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytical Biochemist to join our team at Entrust Resource Solutions. As a Senior Analytical Biochemist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive bioanalytical support and expertise within a unique cross-functional team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust analytical methods and workflows for the characterization of large and small molecules, including protein/proteomic-based and peptides.
  • Generate new analytical approaches and ideas to improve working practices and optimize bioprocess solutions.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to other in-team Biochemists/Scientists.
  • Define and deliver suitable analytical projects for a wide variety of bioprocess/biocatalysis-related activities.
  • Lead on projects, ensuring milestones are in place and met.
  • Ensure the validity of all analytical data produced.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and advise others when required.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a BSc/MSc/PhD in Biochemistry (or related subject) and proven demonstrable skills and experience in analytical biochemistry techniques. R&D experience in a bioprocessing/biocatalysis environment, including downstream processing and product isolation, would be ideal.
