Electrical Engineer - Oxford

Salary: Up to GBP 41,500

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours plus paid overtime as required.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at a prestigious site in Oxford. This role will involve planned and reactive maintenance to all electrical equipment and assets on site. You will need to have previous experience in a similar role, and have the confidence and experience to work alone at times and work to strict deadlines.

Packages and Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance within various buildings in our client's portfolio.
  2. Conduct inspection and testing, emergency light testing, PAT Testing, RCD testing.
  3. Install new equipment or replace/repair lamps, sockets, etc.
  4. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who will add value to an expanding business.
  5. Able to work on their own initiative but will need to work well within a team environment, assisting other trades when required.
  6. An ability to deal with clients and suppliers alike, with good written and verbal communication skills required.

Essential qualifications and experience required:

  • City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in electro technical services - Electrical Installation.
  • City & Guilds 2391 testing and inspection.
  • 18th Edition in electrical installation.
  • Previous maintenance experience working in a commercial environment.
  • Hold a full clean UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety & safe working practices.
  • IPAF and PASMA Certification (preferred).
