Job Title: Electronics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team at AWE Plc. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and fault-finding of electronic hardware, as well as analysing and assessing existing designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic hardware and systems
  • Test and fault-find electronic hardware and systems
  • Analyse and assess existing designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or applied physics
  • Experience in analogue circuit design, digital support circuit design, electronic circuit fault finding, circuit simulation and modelling, reverse engineering & data analysis, switch mode power supply design (SMPS), high voltage circuit design considerations & electrical safety, failure mode effect analysis (design/product, component level), and electromagnetics design
  • Ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority-changing environment
  • Initiative, enthusiasm, flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines

Security Clearance:

You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE Plc. You must be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
