Project Director for Large Scale RC Frame Projects

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Director to lead the Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) phase and subsequent delivery of a large RC Frame project in London. This is an exceptional opportunity to take full ownership of a significant development from pre-construction through to completion, playing a key role in the successful delivery of a landmark project.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all pre-construction activities, including design development, cost planning, program preparation, and procurement strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate with design consultants, stakeholders, and the client to ensure all PCSA deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Identify and manage risks, providing solutions to mitigate potential issues during the PCSA stage.
  • Negotiate with key stakeholders, including suppliers and subcontractors, to ensure readiness for the construction phase.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to finalize contract terms and project budgets.
  • Take full responsibility for the delivery of the RC Frame project, ensuring the program, budget, quality, and safety targets are achieved.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary project team, including project managers, site managers, engineers, and commercial staff.
  • Build strong relationships with the client and all stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement robust project governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and quality standards.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Project Director or senior project leader delivering large-scale RC Frame projects. They will possess extensive knowledge of both pre-construction and construction phases, including PCSA processes, design management, and procurement. Strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and risk management expertise are also essential.
