Maintenance Technician

As a key member of the Saputo Dairy UK engineering team, the Maintenance Shift Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of site equipment and infrastructure. This will involve the maintenance of state-of-the-art cheesemaking equipment, as well as planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on site equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
