About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Painter Technician to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd. As a key member of our mobile painting crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across York.

Key Responsibilities:

• To paint and decorate interior surfaces of houses, mainly in York, but also potentially externally.
• To prepare surfaces prior to painting, ensuring they are clean and free from dirt, grime, and other substances that may affect the finish.
• To apply paint coatings using various techniques, including brushing, rolling, and spraying.
• To ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company policies and procedures.
• To work efficiently and effectively as part of a mobile painting team, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Requirements:

• A valid CSCS card and time-served experience in painting and decorating.
• No additional trade skills are required; however, proficiency in tiling or plastering is an added benefit.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working on-site, primarily in occupied houses but occasionally in vacant properties. The location is predominantly within York, with occasional external projects.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. A van and fuel card will be provided for your convenience.
