Job Summary:

We are seeking an effective Childcare Team Member to support the Head Teacher in delivering stimulating activities for children and their families at Farr Primary School, Thurso.

About the Role:

  • Support the delivery of activities in accordance with Highland Council policies, guidelines, and codes of practice.
  • Register with SSSC and undertake accredited training.
  • Agree to undertake further training as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively with the childcare team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  2. Support the development and implementation of engaging activities that meet the needs of children and their families.

Requirements:

  • Educated to SVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in early learning and childcare.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of child development principles and practices.

Salary: £4710 - £4839 per annum
