**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Medical Oncology to join our team at St George's Hospital. As a specialist in Breast & Gynaecological cancer, you will work closely with our established Breast oncology consultants.

Main Responsibilities

  • To have overall responsibility for the department, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • To lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • To develop and implement plans to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

Requirements

  • A medical degree is essential.
  • Full registration and license to practice with the General Medical Council or equivalent qualification if working overseas.
  • Has CC(S)T and on the Special Register for Medical Oncology or eligible for CCT and inclusion on the Specialist Register within 3 months of interview date.
  • A higher professional qualification, such as MRCP, is also required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
