Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate SEN Support Specialist to join their team in Reading, Berkshire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with students with complex needs, providing support and intervention to ensure each student receives high-quality education.

The role involves monitoring student progress, developing visual materials for classroom sessions, and collaborating with the SEND team to provide tailored support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Psychology and be able to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare visual materials for classroom sessions
  • Support pupils with SEN and additional needs
  • Carry out 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
  • Significantly improve stutters, apraxia of speech, dysarthria, selective mutism, and speech delay
