Job Description:

Integrity Personnel Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Platform Embedded Software Developer to join their team. This exciting new role offers a unique opportunity for experienced embedded real-time C++ Android platform developers to take on new challenges in a thriving communications company.

About the Role:

  • Develop, configure and tune the Android platform, Android framework/service alterations and the Android development toolchain.

  • Contribute to the development of commercially released products using Android.

  • Apply excellent C++ programming skills in real-time multi-processor, multi-threaded, event-driven software.

  • Utilize knowledge of the Android SDK and APIs, particularly in the areas of Telecoms and networking.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant subject.

  • Significant experience in platform development of commercially released products using Android.

  • Proficiency in C++ programming in real-time multi-processor, multi-threaded, event-driven software.

  • Understanding of the Android SDK and APIs, specifically in Telecoms and networking.

  • Experience with real-time, multi-processor, multi-threaded, event-driven software.

  • Good knowledge of the Android Architecture and ecosystem, including low-level and security aspects.

  • Experience in using Binder, AIDL, Services (C++/Java), Framework APIs, NDK, JNI, CTS.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Embedded Linux kernel, driver architecture, USB, networking, memory and scheduling subsystems.

  • Experience with Linux open-source project configuration management and patching techniques.

  • Ability to work with a hardware development team, interpreting schematics and using debugging tools.

  • Experience in the complete software development lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of configuration management and fault tracking tools.
