The Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team and amplify our impact in the EMEA region. As a key player in our fast-paced startup, you will drive our ambitious growth objectives and support our clients in delivering transformative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Manage the contracting process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating with clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with legal experts to ensure contracts align with business goals, protect intellectual property, and mitigate legal risks.
  • Contractual Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for any contract-related issues.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline contract management processes to improve efficiency and reduce delays.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date contract records to reflect current business relationships.
  • Sales Strategy Support: Work with the Growth team to develop and execute market penetration and revenue growth strategies.
  • Framework Participation: Identify, enroll the company onto, and manage key commercial frameworks to enhance revenue and visibility.
  • Compliance and Relationships: Ensure compliance with framework requirements and maintain strong ties with administrators for continued access to high-value opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in contract management, particularly within defence and security contexts.
  • Experience working with the MoD and other government departments, as well as international experience with wider NATO and FVEY partners.
  • Strong experience in bid writing, frameworks, and DEFCONS.
  • Ability to review and negotiate T&C and IP positions independently.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
