Job Title: Rapid Response Care Assistant

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Rapid Response Care Assistant to join our team at Independent Community Care Management Limited. As a Rapid Response Care Assistant, you will be working with individuals who require complex care in their homes and communities.

About the Job

You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. This will involve working with clients who have spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and other complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to clients in their homes and communities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transferring
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients

Requirements

  • Previous experience in complex care, including ventilation support, tracheostomy care, and peg feeding
  • Compassion and empathy when working with clients and their families
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn new skills and develop knowledge in complex care
