About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Design Engineer to join our team at Ross-shire Engineering Limited. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing process design input, formulating and developing designs for clients, and providing direction and technical guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Initial project scoping visit and preparation of project scope reports.
  2. Process calculations and process unit sizing.
  3. Ensure that project design checking, validation and approval procedures are followed including any Client technical governance requirements.
  4. Consider all project design development activities including multi-disciplinary interface reviews, ensuring compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards.
  5. Leading design meetings, including but not limited to HAZOPs.
  6. Act as a Design Lead for specific projects.
  7. Specifying temporary treatment requirements to ensure no consent breaches occur during construction activities.
  8. Respond to engineering queries raised during the project construction stage.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrable experience in process engineering or a similar industry environment.
  2. Process design engineering experience within municipal water/wastewater is highly desirable.
  3. Ability to work alone or supervise a team.
  4. Experience of working at all design stages, from optioneering/FEED through to construction support and As-Built is highly desirable.
  5. Experience of plant commissioning and/or plant operation is preferable.
  6. Some knowledge of strategic planning and risk management processes.
  7. Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
  8. Full UK Driving Licence.
