Job SummaryCephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in the Interventional Radiology department. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and MRI scanners, to produce high-quality images
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, including disposing of biohazardous waste and cleaning equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Develop and implement procedures to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- 2+ years of experience in Interventional Radiology or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bilingual (Spanish) or proficiency in a second language
- Experience with EMR systems and other medical software
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The schedule includes on-call shifts every 3rd week and weekends. The dress code is Royal Blue scrubs.
