Category Manager

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team at Kate+Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating service providers, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate service providers based on factors such as expertise, quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with UK requirements and standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with service providers to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand service requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential service providers and industry trends.
  • Lead process' for contracts under remit, including drafting documents and selecting qualified vendors.
  • Coordinate with business, legal and finance teams to review and approve contracts.
  • Use Central procurement software to maintain accurate records and generate reports on purchasing activities.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level (or with commensurate experience)
  • Results focused
  • Self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Able to prioritise and organise
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
