We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team at Kate+Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating service providers, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet service requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate service providers based on factors such as expertise, quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with UK requirements and standards.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with service providers to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand service requirements and specifications.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential service providers and industry trends.
- Lead process' for contracts under remit, including drafting documents and selecting qualified vendors.
- Coordinate with business, legal and finance teams to review and approve contracts.
- Use Central procurement software to maintain accurate records and generate reports on purchasing activities.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level (or with commensurate experience)
- Results focused
- Self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to prioritise and organise
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly numerate
- RFx process
- Sourcing Activity
- Practice of procurement in an FCA-regulated context
- Performance KPI and SLA industry standards
