Key Responsibilities:- Undertake project management duties, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Manage project teams, including supply chain partners, to ensure quality, safety, and programme delivery.
- Lead defined projects and manage capital investment schemes, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Assist in the evaluation of tenders and the selection of suitable contractors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations, including CDM Regulations, Planning and Building Regulations, and Party Wall Act.
- Manage and monitor allocated budgets, ensuring expenditure is on target and meets financial regulations.
- Relevant HND/HNC construction qualification, e.g., building surveying, quantity surveying, or architectural.
- Project management experience in a property or contracting context.
- Knowledge of industry legislation, including Building Regulations, Party Wall Act, and Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations.
- Sound experience of writing specifications and obtaining quotes/tenders for work.
- Agile working.
- Access to join the Local Government Defined Benefit Pension Scheme (LGPS) or the defined contribution scheme.
- Training and development, including sponsorship to study scheme and paid professional membership.
- 25 days holiday, rising to 30 days after three years of service, plus eight Bank Holidays.
