Job Title: Operating Department Practitioner - Orthopaedic Scrub

Location: North Downs Hospital, Caterham

Employment Type: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our Theatre team at North Downs Hospital in Caterham. As an Orthopaedic Scrub ODP, you will play a crucial role in supporting our surgical teams in delivering high-quality care to patients.

You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including laminar airflow systems and integrated theatre technology. Additionally, you will have access to the Ramsay Academy, which offers training and development opportunities to support your career growth.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
