Role Overview

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in the success of our projects, working closely with senior staff members and the Managing Director. This involves assisting Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers with both pre and post-contract duties, including preparing cost plans, tender documents, financial statements, and more.

As a motivated individual, you will support in the preparation of cost plans and evaluations, assist in creating tender documents and financial statements, measure for Bills of Quantities/Schedules of Work, conduct final account assessments and interim valuations, assess cost variations to contracts, and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support in the preparation of cost plans and evaluations.
  • Assist in the creation of tender documents and financial statements.
  • Measure for Bills of Quantities/Schedules of Work.
  • Conduct final account assessments and interim valuations.
  • Assess cost variations to contracts.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Provide project support for client direct suppliers coordination.
  • Engage in marketing activities, including updating the website and social networking sites.
  • Conduct project analysis for cost databases.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, a workplace pension available upon completion of the probationary period, and opportunities for professional development within a multi-disciplinary team.
