Advanced Fixture Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Fixture Design Specialist to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in designing and developing innovative fixtures that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models of fixtures using industry-leading software. They will design hydraulic and manual fixtures with precision and accuracy, creating comprehensive 2D drawings of fixture components and assemblies. Additionally, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fixture designs for performance and efficiency, utilizing their mechanical engineering expertise to enhance fixture functionality and durability.
Requirements- Proficiency in CAD software (such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and design.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fixture design and engineering.
- Strong ability to generate detailed 2D drawings of fixture components.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and manual fixture design principles.
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and British Standard practices.
- Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and documentation.
- Mechanical engineering background with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
As an Advanced Fixture Design Specialist at Recra Consulting, you can expect a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
