Job Title: HGV Driver

Staffing Match is seeking a skilled HGV driver to join our team in Huntingdon. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely transporting bedroom furniture to customers around the area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely complete deliveries in a 2-man crew
  • Ensure compliance with UK Road Law and Regulations, as well as Working Time Regulations
  • Perform daily vehicle checks before hitting the road
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure merchandise is secure in the lorry
  • Deliver products to customers' rooms of choice and leave homes tidy
Requirements:
  • Hold a UK licence with category C1 or above
  • Hold a valid CPC and Digital tacho card
  • Previous experience driving 7.5t or above vehicles in the UK
  • Able to complete heavy lifting deliveries
  • Friendly attitude towards customers and excellent work ethic
