Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enablement Coordinator to join our Adult Social Care team in Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering effective, person-centred approaches to individuals who require support with daily living skills.

About the Role

The Enablement Coordinator will work closely with vulnerable adults and their families to develop and promote independence. This involves providing one-to-one support in clients' homes, community settings, and at our Drop-In services based in local libraries.

You will be responsible for gathering information accurately and concisely to support report preparation, prioritising and managing your own time effectively, and maintaining good working relationships with external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathering information to prepare reports on client needs
  • Delivering effective support to promote independence
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
  • Training related to Health and Social Care
  • Experience of working with individuals who require support
  • Evidence of excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to use in-house systems
